Carol M. Burton, M.A. and Associates resolve to apply their professional expertise and experience to meet the educational and therapeutic needs of each client for maximum school and life success.
Carol M. Burton, M.A., has been an educator for over 28 years. She has taught in both public and private schools. Ms. Burton has taught all ages from preschool to adult, and all grade levels from preschool to college. Her teaching emphasis for the last 25 years has been in Special Education. Carol Burton has taught regular education students, RSP and SDC students. Students in her classroom have been Learning Disabled, ADD/ADHD, Dyslexic, Developmentally Delayed, Emotionally Disturbed, and Autistic.
Carol Burton graduated from California State University of Los Angeles, where she obtained two life teaching credentials and her Master of Arts in Special Education. She also holds a Lifetime Instructor Credential for the college level.
Ms. Burton is in the educational publishing business as a book author and editor with Burton Digital Books. Carol Burton is also listed in Who’s Who Among American Teachers for the 2005 edition.
Carol Burton currently has her own educational therapy private practice in Temple City. She has also been a professor of Child Development at Whittier College, and a Teacher Supervisor for Special Education Interns at University of La Verne.
